About me.

My approach to therapy is client-centred and eclectic, meaning that our work together is shaped by you — your experiences, needs, values, and goals. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I work collaboratively with each client to find what feels most supportive and effective. With postgraduate training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities, I draw from evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and responsive to your unique needs. I integrate my professional education, years of experience providing long-term therapy in hospital settings, and my own life experience to create a therapeutic space that is warm and compassionate.

I have worked across a range of hospital and clinical settings, including mood and anxiety, diabetes and chronic illness, kidney transplant, endocrinology, and trauma with children and youth. In addition to hospital-based work, I have experience in community and inpatient mental health settings. I began my career working with children and families, which has not only deepened my understanding of human development but also brought a sense of playfulness and creativity to my practice that I carry into therapy with clients of all ages. This foundation continues to inform my practice today and has fuelled my ongoing passion for supporting young adults as they navigate life transitions, relationships, identity, and mental health challenges.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens in relationship with others. I strive to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. Together, we can explore what’s been feeling difficult, build practical tools for coping, and work toward greater self-awareness, balance, and self-compassion.

In my spare time, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, swimming and reading by the lake, doing yoga, or working out. I also enjoy baking and cooking, listening to music, playing games, trying new restaurants and spending time with my dog!

I like to bring my own personality and lived experience into my work, which allows me to connect with clients in an authentic and meaningful way. Being able to draw on both my professional training and my own life experiences is something I value deeply, and it guides me in creating a collaborative, empathetic, and supportive therapeutic environment.
