Sarah Crittenden MSW, RSW
Social worker, Psychotherapist.
About me.
Hi! I’m Sarah, and I’m so glad that you’re here! Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, going through a difficult time, or simply curious and ready for change, you’re in the right place.
I have had a passion for human connection, mental health and wellbeing, and the relationship between the body and the mind for as Iong as I can remember. This enthusiasm led me to pursue a career in social work and psychotherapy, where I’ve been grateful to learn from and support many wonderful clients, while also connecting with others doing meaningful work along the way.
My hope is for you to leave our sessions feeling lighter and more equipped to navigate the challenges in your life. We will work together to develop practical tools to cope with anxiety and stress, and to understand your emotions on a deeper level. I bring my professional education, years of experience working in both hospital and community settings, and my own personal experience to create a warm, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic environment.
My areas of focus include:
Anxiety
Health anxiety, with specialized training in diabetes and mental health
Young adult mental health
Grief and loss
Body image, self-esteem, and disordered eating
Relationships and communication
Women and girls’ health and mental health
Workplace stress and finding balance
Yoga and mindfulness
Life transitions
